Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MK Class collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can delete your account. It applies to the MK Class Android app and https://mkclass.online.

1. Who we are

MK Class (“we”, “us”) operates the MK Class mobile application and website. For privacy requests, email mkclass.online@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the service you sign up for:

Account and profile

  • Name, email address, and phone number (used to create and sign in to your account)
  • Optional profile details you enter: date of birth, gender, address, state, city, pincode, preferred language, and profile photo if you upload one

Learning and exam activity

  • Tests you start or submit, answers, time spent, scores, and result reports
  • Courses, videos, ebooks, current affairs, and bundles you open or unlock
  • Bookmarks and in-app preferences (for example language)

Purchases

  • Order history, amounts, coupons used, and whether access is active
  • Payment status from our payment partner (see below). We do not store your full card, UPI PIN, or banking password

Support

  • Messages you send as a support ticket, feedback, or bug report

Technical data

  • Device type used to sign in (for example “mobile”), session tokens, and basic server logs (IP address, time, and error traces) to keep the service secure and working

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, or your photo library unless you choose to upload a profile picture. The app’s core functions only need an internet connection.

3. How we use information

  • Create and authenticate your account
  • Deliver tests, courses, videos, ebooks, current affairs, and other content you are entitled to
  • Show results, analytics, and PDF reports you generate
  • Process payments, apply coupons, and show purchase/invoice history
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send service notices (for example purchase confirmation or important account messages)
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting duties

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your exam answers for advertising.

4. Payment processing (Razorpay)

Paid tests, bundles, courses, and similar digital items are charged through Razorpay. Razorpay collects payment details on its checkout according to its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, a payment/order reference, and the amount — not your full card number.

If you pay, Razorpay and, where required, banks or UPI apps also process data as independent controllers/processors under their terms.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed to operate MK Class:

  • Razorpay — to complete and verify payments
  • Hosting and infrastructure — servers that store the app database, files (for example uploaded images or result PDFs), and application logs
  • The law — if we are legally required to disclose information

We do not share your data with unofficial “exam coaching” partners for marketing. Staff who operate MK Class (administrators) can see account and purchase records in the admin panel in order to support you and run the service.

6. Retention

We keep account and learning data while your account is active so you can resume tests, see past results, and access purchases for their validity period. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise identifiers such as your name, email, and phone. We may retain limited transaction or exam records in anonymised or legally required form (for example tax, dispute, or fraud prevention) for as long as Indian law requires.

MK Class is an exam-preparation product. It is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review this policy and supervise use. If we learn we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls on the admin panel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your password private and do not share your account.

10. International visitors

Our servers and operations are intended for users in India. If you access MK Class from another country, your data may be processed in India.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when the product or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
